On February 8, 2012, the world lost its real-life ‘Most Interesting Man in the World’, John Fairfax. Some may even suggest that John Fairfax was the inspiration behind Dos Equis’s most interesting man marketing. John Fairfax rowed across the world, fought off sharks and a panther, spoke five languages, was a talented chef and an expert baccarat player. Fairfax died of a heart attack at his Las Vegas home, at the age of 74. CAVE honours the storied adventurer as this week’s Caveman of the Week.
