CAVE man of the Week: Aron Ralston

Aron Ralston

Be Like Aron – Keep Doing What You Love

Many would think that after going through what Aron Ralston did, that you would simply stop climbing, but for Ralston that would mean he would have to stop living. In 2005 Ralston became the first person to climb all of Colorados 53 mountains ( a project started in 1997). He also has climbed mt. Kilimanjaro,  Ojos del Salado in Chile, and Monte Pissis in Argentina. So today, or tomorrow when you have to overcome a barrier, know that it is to keep doing what you love. I think this draws close to when the media tries to decide when professional athletes should retire. There is a reason you have 40 year old men in pro sports and its not because of the money, it is because they cannot stop doing what they love.
